The Wolfsberg Group has replaced its Payment Transparency Standards originally drafted in 2017 with a new set of standards designed to reflect the operational and financial crime risks posed by innovation in payment services and open banking. It recognises that with so many players in the payment chain nowadays, it can be hard to see where one player’s responsibilities begin and end.
