FCA publishes TPR data

The FCA has published summary data on the firms that entered the TPR and on those which have successfully secured full UK authorisation:

• 1,191 solo-regulated firms entered the TPR, spanning 29 jurisdictions and covering 9 Directives
• Of the firms which subsequently applied for UK authorisation, 212 firms are now fully authorised (either via a UK branch or a new UK entity)

The FCA notes that the firms which did not seek full UK authorisation will have either cancelled their temporary permission or will be running-off any remaining UK business via the financial services contracts regime.
