The BoE and PRA have published their annual report on whistleblowing in the last year (to end March 2024). During that period they received 240 disclosures of which 228 could properly be categorised as protected disclosures. Of those 14 contributed to significant supervisory or regulatory activity, around half provided intelligence of prudential value or for interest, and nearly half were still subject to ongoing supervisory assessment. Examples of disclosures received including ones raising concerns about culture, customer interests and financial stability.
