More ECCTA provisions take effect

on 18 March, the remainder of the provisions on the procedure for verifying identity, authorisation of corporate service providers, allocation of unique identifiers, the registrar’s power to strike off a company registered on a false basis and the register of limited partnerships, so far as they are not already in force; and
officially and fully, the failure to prevent fraud offence and related measures, from 1 September (including amending the previous commencement regulations which had not complied with the requirement that guidance must be published before a commencement order for the main offence can be made.
