Transparency International has criticised Anguilla, Bermuda, the BVI and the Turks and Caicos Islands for continuing to miss deadlines for opening up their corporate registers. As of 1 May 2025, out of the 5 Overseas Territories that made a commitment to enable greater beneficial ownership transparency by April 2025, only the Cayman Islands has done so.
