The FCA has published a new Investment Advice Assessment Tool to help firms understand how it assesses suitability of investment advice and customer disclosures. The tool does not apply to retirement income or defined benefit transfer advice. The FCA hopes it can help not only firms but also PII insurers, consultants and those involved with defined contribution pension schemes.
