Emma RadmoreHMRC has confirmed an increase in the Economic Crime Levy taking effect from the financial year beginning April 2026 onwards. The previous “large” band is not to be split into 2, creating a new set of bandings:
- Band A (businesses with UK revenue between £10.2m and £36m), which will now pay £10,200;
- Band B (businesses with UK revenue between £36m and £500m), which will now pay £36,000;
- Band C (businesses with UK revenue between £500m and £1bn), which will now pay £500,000; and
- Band C (businesses with UK revenue over £1bn) which will now pay £1m.
