Laura WilesSeven social media ‘finfluencers’ have pleaded guilty to issuing unauthorised financial promotions in relation to an unauthorised foreign exchange trading scheme.
Biggs Chris, Jamie Clayton, Lauren Goodger, Rebecca Gormley, Yazmin Oukhellou, Scott Timlin and Eva Zapico all pleaded guilty to one count of issuing unauthorised financial promotions. Together, their Instagram accounts had a combined following of 4.5m.
The majority of the group were fined and ordered to pay costs.
