UK-Japan financial regulatory forum reports on progress

The fourth meeting of the UK-Japan financial regulatory forum took place on 18 March between HM Treasury and the Japan Financial Services Agency. The forum discussed:

• digital finance, with the UK updating on its plans for the Digital Pound and the BoE’s evolving approach to systemic stablecoin regulation;
• sustainable and climate finance;
• asset management;
• AI. cyber and operational resilience;
• international banking and NBFI; and
• Women in Finance.
