Emma RadmoreThe Government has published the Terms of Reference for what Chris Woolard, the appointed Wholesale Digital Markets Champion, will focus on. Specifically, he will:
- establish a cross-industry taskforce;
- report on how UK wholesale markets can best adopt tokenisation and the best way to ensure DLT interoperability;
- promote delivery of the strategy across the sector; and
- co-ordinate with other relevant workstreams.
An initial forward look is due next month, with a full report on DLT adoption and interoperability by July 2027. The 18 month appointment started in April.
