Emma RadmoreUK Finance is to support the group of banks and building societies who are driving forward a digital verification service led by financial institutions. The service planned would allow verification through a customer’s banking app, which, if the customer explicitly agreed, could be shared securely with third parties to enable completion of transactions or access to services.
The project has completed its proof of concept work and will now move to a live pilot scheduled for the coming months.
