FCA updates complaints stats

The FCA has updated its complaints data for H2 2024. Based on aggregate data;

  • there was a slight decrease in complaints from H1;
  • overall, complaints numbers have been relatively steady for the past 4 years;
  • all products saw a decrease;
  • uphold rates remained around 57%; and
  • firms paid redress of £236m.

The FCA has also published tables on firm specific complaints data, and a breakdown of opened complaints by product, product group and firm type.
