FCA launches investigation into WH Smith

The FCA has opened an investigation into WH Smith PLC in relation to potential breaches of the UK Listing Principles and Rules, and Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

The announcement comes after an independent review by Deloitte uncovered significant accounting errors in the North American arm of the business.
