The FCA has written to trade associations confirming it has appointed KPMG to carry out an independent assessment of proposals for a standard setting body for UK Open Banking APIs that is capable of becoming the Future Entity. It explains it will not itself participate in the evaluation of proposals during the assessment time, and that once the assessment is complete it will review the recommendation and then engage further with industry.
