UK – U.S. regulatory working group discusses trends

The 12th meeting of the UK-U.S. Financial Regulatory Working Group tool place in late February. It discussed:

• economic and financial stability;
• the Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future;
• digital finance and innovation, including an exchange of views about current and future uses of AI in financial services; and
• regulatory modernisation and developments, including the non-bank financial intermediation markets, operational resilience and use of critical third parties.
