FCA publishes latest complaints data

The latest 6 month complaints data from the FCA shows:

  • a slight increase in complaints compared to the previous half year, but complaints have been relatively stable at between 1.7, and 2m since 2021;
  • a 10% increase in complaints about insurance and pure protection, but decreases in many other product groups including banking/credit cards, home finance and investments.

Around 290 firms provided specific complaints data – and these firms account for around 98% of reported complaints.
