The data for H2 2025 from FOS in fact covers a 9 month period ending 31 March 2026, to align with a new publication schedule, and the figures for the first quarter of 2026/7.
Current accounts were the most complained about product – with half of the complaints relating to fraud and scams. There were also increased complaints in motor and travel insurance, with declined claims being the main reason for complaint.
The FOS received 53,600 complaints in the last quarter, of which only 10% came from representatives, down from 45% in the equivalent quarter last year.
Excluding motor finance commission complaints, the uphold rate across all products was 30%.
