The Business Banking Resolution Service‘s “historical scheme” will close to new registrations on 14 February 2023. The scheme covers complaints first registered between 1 December 2001 and 31 March 2019. The BBRS will stay open after the Historical Scheme closes to process complaints already in the system and to receive new complaints in the “Contemporary Scheme” which deals with complaints relating to incidents that took place on or after 1 April 2019.
