FCA has published a “warning notice statement” which discloses that it gave two individuals warning notices in September 2022 of its intention to fine them in respect of conduct between 1 October 2015 and 31 July 2016 when it considers they recklessly permitted their Firm to operate a seriously flawed model for DB pension transfers in partnership with an unauthorised introducer. It says they failed to appreciate or respond to various risks and warning signs.
