The Upper Tribunal has upheld the FCA’s decision to ban Jes Staley from holding any senior management role in the financial services industry. It did however reduce the financial penalty in response to Barclays’ decision not to permit Mr Staley to receive deferred shares that he would otherwise have been entitled to.
