As part of its consultation on the motor finance commission redress scheme, the FCA has opened a data room to help firms understand its analysis of loss. The data room is not open to everyone, but on request to stakeholders skilled in reviewing large amounts of data and modelling. The FCA is clear that it is for use only to help with responding to the consultation, and not for calculating individual firms’ liabilities.
