FCA updates complaints data

The FCA has published complaints data from H1 2025. Key takeways include:

  • complaints levels have stayed fairly static for 4 years, with the last half’s complaints being 1.85m, a slight rise from the previous period;
  • complaints about banking and credit cards, decumulation and pensions and investments all increased, while those about home finance and insurance and pure protection decreased. The biggest move was in investment complaints, which increased by 10%.
