BoE consults on enforcement changes

The BoE, including the PRA, is consulting on proposed changes to its SOPs and procedures for enforcement, following the additional responsibilities FSMA 2023 has placed on it. The changes relate to enforcement policy and procedure in connection with:

• the Securitisation Regulations 2024;
• digital settlement assets;
• the wholesale distribution of cash; and
• critical third parties.

Consultation closes on 28 June, and the changes would be implemented during Q4 2024.
